Suspect in burnings of Jewish scrolls charged with hate crimes

New York (CNN) - A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged on Thursday with hate crimes after 12 mezuzahs were set ablaze as they hung on door frames outside Jews' homes.

Ruben Ubiles, 34, was arrested on 17 charges, many of them hate crimes, including burglary, arson, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment, according to the New York Police Department.

    that's just sad. i don't know what else i can say. it's sad. there is nothing wrong with a mezuzah. in fact, it is a wonderful thing. i am a Christian, but i love Jewish people. God loves Jewish people. They need to know the Lord Jesus. This man needs to know the Lord Jesus. there may come a day when he is very sorry for what he has done. God bless and have mercy on and save the Jews and this man too. Amen.

    If he burned copies of the Talmud...who would be guilty? Now those writings need to be burned.
