Appeals court strikes down California same-sex marriage ban

San Francisco (CNN) - California's voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage violates the U.S. Constitution, a federal appeals court in San Francisco ruled Tuesday.
The decision by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is expected to be appealed, to either the full court or to the U.S. Supreme Court. But supporters of same-sex marriages cheered the decision when it was announced outside the courthouse Tuesday morning.
The 2-1 decision found the ban - known as Proposition 8 - "served no purpose, and had no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California, and to officially reclassify their relationship and families as inferior to those of opposite-sex couples." That violates the 14th Amendment's guarantee of equal protection under the law, the decision states.

Being gay is a result of growing up in a non-healthy environment. With what mindset would you support the gay and lesbian lifestyle? It is not about belief or choice – it is about acting, living, practicing what is natural !
Nature calls for you to breathe, eat, re-produce in certain natural ways; you don’t have to follow a prayer, faith or an any particular religion to know what is natural and what is not!
Nature has created man and woman as complimentary creatures to each other – physically, mentally and emotionally, just like day and night, morning and evening – you get the point.
In the name of the choice are you going to OK a marriage between an animal and a human being, or between a daughter and father? Would you start walking with your hands? Would you start eating with your nose? What is wrong, intrinsically, is wrong!
Just because some people are gay or acting gay, that lifestyle does not make it a right choice. It is a sickening state of mind and needs help. If you act against the nature – nature would not allow that for too long!
It is sad state in America where so-called progressive ideas support “anything or everything goes”. Hollow Hollywood and TV shows tend to fuel such practices. Please take a stand!
