For all those who think Trayvon is smaller than Zimmerman I think you are thinking of the picture everyone sees which is his 13 yr old Pic. So lets find a side by side pic of Zimmerman to 17 yr Trayvon pic. Also a foot ball player I don't think he is as small as everyone else appears to believe. At 17 most young adults are a fair match against any adult.

This show is one of the most blatant examples of liberal propaganda I've ever seen. It is totally on-sided and is full of speculation and innuendo, as well as outrifght fabrications. The "panel" is comprised of people with an anti-white, anti-authority agenda. Finally, it completely fails to focus on the only issue that really matters: DID Trayvon Martin assault George Zimmerman, and was he in the process of beating him, when Zimmerman fired the fatal shot? Witnesses and physical evidence seem to indicate that he did.

hearing this I'm singled out because I'm Black thing is bothering me...I am white and have been singled out many times, friends even being drunk around me while I had nothing, the officer looked at me as the bad one in the group. Sometimes it is just the Ora of a person. Thus I believe the Zimmerman would have had the same reaction to any White, Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Indian or any other group acting the same way as Trayvon. therefore all discussions should stop and let the law investigate.

    questions to all...
have any of you ever been assaulted..
Do any of you really know what your reaction would be.
I know I am big enough to do bodily harm without a weapon and I have the tool set to do so. Thus if Trayvon did assault Zimmerman then Trayvon did assert force with the intent to due bodily harm.. it includes up to killing Zimmerman..weapon in hand or not.

Why isn't anyone talking about how this situation began? It began with Zimmerman pursuing Treyvon. If he had stayed in his vehicle until the police arrived, Treyvon would be alive. PLEASE, explain to me how it is "self defense" or "stand your ground" when Zimmerman went after Treyvon? Is this how the law works??

We are forgetting the key issue: Trayvon Martin is the victim in this case, not Zimmerman. What force did Trayvon have exerted against him, while walking, talking of the phone with one hand and holding skittles and ice tea in the other? Why isn't the statement being made that "He had a right to stand his ground" after being approached by a man (who happened to be carrying a 9mm) chasing him down. The focus on Zimmerman's right to 'stand his ground' is preposterous. This stand your ground law completely removes the focus from a innocent victim and shifts it to the only person standing (with a gun). There are two sides to every story; if only one version of the story that can be voiced is because one is 'packing' – we are headed to become the wild, wild west once again.

Ladies and Gentlemen: I have a dream today. "Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson, shut your racist mouths and take up for everybody." You want to spout off about equality but ALL you care about is equality for blacks. The NAACP is always crying INJUSTICE well how justified is it that every little thug gang banger who kills a child you stand up for saying they were never given a chance because of the color of their skin. I dont care what color you are all teens know right from wrong. Stop trying to say that everything wrong is due to the color of your skin and realize that if you stopped acting like ignorant thugs people may stop treating you like little ignorant thugs!

Well what about all the children of other racists gunned down by black gangs while riding their bikes or playing in their front yards? Al Sharpton is the biggest racist ever to walk the face of the Earth!!!!

Why is it that every time an African American is shot/killed in self defense or not you see Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton wanting to march on it. How many others (White, Hispanic, & Asians) are killed by African Americans, be they gang bangers and not, and Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton don't say a word about it. That is racism in itself. First of all that Guardian Angel guy is a showboat and had a lot of the facts wrong. He has NO idea about the neighborhood and what goes on there. Well I can tell you that on any given night, there aren't many people walking up and down the streets. George Zimmerman was NOT self appointed, in fact the HOA and other neighbors encouraged him to keep watch, and KNEW he carried a gun. I mean come on CNN if you are going to have a discussion at least don't speculate things and have people on their that do the same. I think he was a little over zealous because MOST of the neighbors there were tired of being robbed, and here is another news flash. MANY of those same neighbors WERE racists. Zimmerman was probably the least if he was at all. I am so sick and tired of hearing speculation about this case. What Zimmerman did was wrong, but to make it more than it was is simply absurd. Don't tell me that the HOA had no clue about Zimmerman because I was there at one of the meetings. The things the news media has done for ratings is disgraceful. Jane Velez Mitchell, you are a trouble maker and are just as clueless.

      1. NO ONE told Zimmernan not to follow Martin. A civilian telephone operation said "we don't NEED you to follow him." Big difference.

      2. Since when do the police have the authority to tell a private block watchman that he can't follow someone, anyway? They don't.

Zimmerman was perfectly within his rights to follow Martin. Regardless, being followed does not give the person being followed the right to assault and beat the person following them.

As a Black man that grew up in the 1950's and 1960's I was told by my mother what to do when you where you was with a lot of your friends you had to carry yourself a certain way when you are around the police or white people. I do beleave that the police and zimmersons family are getting together and make up their own story to protect the police and zimmerion. When all they had to do was the right thing. I hope that this does not blow up into something that none of us want to happen. In coming up in a time like this I know that is not a good thing to happen. My God bless us all.

Things may need to blow up before they actually get better.

"One cannot know peace without knowing war" -The Art of War

not to say literally there needs to be a race war. But just like in mathematics and chemistry , things get messy or volatile before the simplify. I don't have to tell you about the civil rights movment you were there. things had to get bad, very bad up until and during that point before they got better. However, the civil rights movment did not go far enough for true equality. We only were able to hush the racist and prejudice from being as vocal, we alienated them into compounds in the middle of the woods and majorly in one government party.

For most of the time AFTER the civil rights movement people just opted to not talk about race, and us Black people became complacent. this is what happens when you get complacent and you don't finish what you start, your advisary changes forms, It adapts, and you have to get back in the trenches again.

it was sad that this had to happen to trayvon, but I welcome this rhetoric now, not only does it put race on the table fairly, in good question, but its a better litmus test than the OJ trial for closet racists.

I just turned on the CNN and saw the info posted about Zimmerman. He called 911 46 times over the years, was in a Law Enforcement class, he chased down suspected burglers. To me he seems the "I wanna be a cop" but didn't go or make it. So he figures he can take matters into his own hands. I don't know about Trayvon but he looks alot smaller then Zimmerman. So I figure if Trayvon was doing something wrong Zimmerman could of held him till Police showed up or if it was that bad, he could of held him at gun point till they showed up. Either or to me Trayvon would still be here. I wasn't there so this is just my opinion on what the news has reported. Viewer from Toronto Canada Cheers for the time

You've allowed yourself to be brainwashed by the media.

Zimmerman was actually in training to become a sword police officer, but had to drop out because of this incident.

Trayvon was 6'3" and buff. Zimmerman was shorter and overweight. Zimmerman did not want a physical confrontation with Martin, but only wanted to keep track of him until the police arrived....but Martin chose to attack and beat Zimmerman.

I wonder if you will accept the FACTS of this case when the media finally decides they have no choice but to tell them, or will you be like the black racists in the Jena 6 case (another case where the media lied to us) and continue to blame the victim and make excuses for the perpetrator, even after the truth became known.

This is much more than a white/black profiling case. This is another case
of the police not doing their job. Zimmerman had a track record making it
obvious that he should not have any authority ,should not carry a gun and
should not be allowed to be on any neighborhood watch. How many signs does
the police management of Sanford Florida need to understand that they have
a unstable person who could blow up at any time. Sanford police management
should all be fired ,if this Zimmerman did not kill Trayvon he would of
eventually killed someone else. The job of police is protection and
prevention they had many reasons to react before this incident.

Two shots can show malicious intent to kill, not to gravely wound to escaped an assault. Even police are trained to shoot to immobilize before killing a person when in a life or death situation.

Zimmerman looked to kill Trayvon the moment a little black boy back talked him and had the nerve to ask the prestigious captain of the night watch what he was doing harassing him.

Police are not taught to shoot to wound. If confronted they are taught to take down the sub, if the sub lives it is by luck of not having a vital organ hit or the officers inability to shoot but to wound is not in any of their practices. please review your facts..

On "STAND YOUR GROUND LAWS" I have one in my state. It would not cover Zimmerman. Our law is very specific and clearly says what it means to stand your ground. Before the law changed, we were supposed to jump out of a window of our own homes or something if someone was breaking our front door down with a sledgehammer. Zimmerman will be convicted eventually. There is enough evidence to show that he provoked a fight and then shot Trayvon dead.

Here is a Proven delusional proven sociopath, yet the public gobbles at and demonizes "trace amounts of [weed]" in a baggie and school suspension which could have been in-school suspension and forced to watch anti drug movies.

Yet, Zimmerman remained and remains out of jail. Zimmerman has had this coming to him by repeated his past behavior. However without proper pressure and dialogue the PUBLIC will let him go again.

I'm not siding with Trayvon or Zimmerman, I wasn't there so my opinion or beliefs don't matter. How can anyone sit here and act like they know what happened, when in all reality none of them know a thing? No one seen what happened, no one was there, yet EVERYONE knows what happened & how it happened. Unless you were there and seen it with your own 2 eyes, YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING. Its easy for people to pick apart photos, phone calls, or videos & come up with what they "think" happened but there are always 3 sides to a story... Trayzon's , Zimmerman's, and the TRUTH!!! To turn this into a race thing is completely ridiculous. If he would have shot a white or another spanish guy the "stand your ground" law would have still stood & the same procedures would have been taken, the only difference is that we wouldn't be in a racial debate about it & it wouldn't be slapped all over national news. EVERYONE in America whether you are black, white, spanish, etc...we all have the same rights and opportunities, yet people still complain & argue race. SMH!!!! If only half of the SPOILED Americans sitting here complaining lived in any other part of the world, maybe just maybe people would appreciate what little they do have.

I think the more appropriate question is do YOU think?

you realize zimmerman has a history of violence and being arrested himself . The media FAILS to bring that up anymore. It came up once in the very begining. but most In the media business knowing all the evidence before youdo decided to tone that rhetoric down because the ratings will be higher if they drag it out. Thats why they are focusing on Trayvon's schools suspensions instead

SCHOOL SUSPENSION DOES NOT EQUAL A CRIMINAL RECORD OF AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Check the stats. The other races are tired of that never being addressed at all.
If it was maybe some of them would get over some of their fear of young black males, if it was even addressed just one single time by the media and politicians.

How can you say that crime by Black Males is not being addressed? There are more Black males in jail than out of jail. They go to jail for minor crimes and just for being black. How can you say the media, local, state or federal governments are not addressing the so called "Black Male" crime issue? They’re addressing the wrong issue. They should address how drugs are getting into the community. They should address the poor education systems. Black males are born into this world as perfect beings just like anyone else....

One Fl state government official said the law was not ment to protect someone from altercations or fights, only if you are seriously being attacked. And' zimmerman's claim of being attack looks flimsier and flimsier the longer the Sanford police take to release, EMS records, and injury photographs and explain why neither officer was wearing gloves the night of the arrrest if Zimmerman had been fighting for his life. Where was the blood bath he described. even in a grany photo you should see some discoloration on a shirt after a broken nose.

He was already on foot following Martin when he was told not to follow Martin. It appears that Zimmerman was returning to his SUV when Trayvon confronted him and asked him why was he following him. There is an enhancement of the video of him being taken into the police station that clearly shows a large cut on the back of Zimmerman head. Daily Caller published the enhanced take on yesterday.

We need to reach the source of how crimes such as these continue to occur without penalty – and I'm thinking Wolfinger is part of the problem.

America's sickness is not taking responsibility for its crimes against humanity. That's how racism began, and its ignorance allows it to continue. The states attorney plays a major role in someone like Zimmerman, who hasn't got all his marbles, to have the guts to create such a heinous crime. A man doesn't patrol neighborhood watch with a weapon. If he is scared of his neighborhood – he patrols with others.

The state attorney representative, Wolfinger, should be under investigation – for his actions that night may be consistent with his treatment of other African Americans.

Since WHEN have neighborhood watch members been allowed to carry guns? Since when do they patrol alone or at will? The only watch groups I know of carry ID, wear some kind of uniform clothing like a shirt or safety vest, carry a phone or radio, and usually some kind of video camera. If someone came up on me on the street with a gun alone without a badge, I would attack that person in self defense. By the way, I am 52 and white for those who care about race instead of reality.

No one is saying trayvon attacked zimmerman first on this show because there's 0 evidence of it.

Go take a free community college course on 5th and 6th grade study skills because you clearly don't understand the principle of using primary sources and maintaining credibility. Either add to the discussion with some facts or get lost

I have unfortunately been telling my 9 year old grandson since he was a much younger boy to take his hood off once he's inside, not to walk with his hands in his pockets. not to talk, walk, act like a criminal and everytime I've had to say these things it has broken my heart. But I know that the country we live in will not on first glance see a well spoken, smart and well loved boy. They will see a black male first and only and judge him based on their prejudices toward black males. That is why it is my responsibility to do everything I can to save my grandson's life all the time recognizing that even that may not save him if he runs into a George Zimmerman and 4 NYC police officers.

Teaching manners and common sense shouldn't break your heart. When someone walks with confidence and a sense of purpose and direction, and treats others the way that they would want to be treated, they shouldn't have any problems. People of any race who mope about with their head down are going to attract attention. People form immediate judgments based on body language, not color.

I hope there's some discussion on how innocent black men going about their daily lives can stay safe. What could #TrayvonMartin have done differently? Knocked on someone's door and asked for help? At least there would have been witnesses. Would Zimmerman have shot him at a residents door? Ve heard from self-defense experts that it's better to yell, "Fire!" than to yell for "Help". Would residents have remained indoors if they heard "fire"? Anyone could have been out that night...anyone. This is the burden we carry, and it's terrifying that we have to educate our young men on how not to be perceived as a threat.

That's correct. Hispanic is not a race. Hispanic is a person from (or origins) a Spanish-speaking country, regardless of race. Actually, the term Hispanophone (Spanish-speaker) is more accurate than Hispanic (the original people of the Roman province of Hispania – now Portugal and Spain). Moreover, the other misnomer, "Latino" or "Latin" (used incorrectly in the United States) refers to the peoples from Latin America only, regardless of race. Actually, Latin is the language of the ancient Romans and their empire. The European Latins are the French, Italians, Portuguese, Romanians, and Spaniards. Latin America derives its name from the fact that the languages spoken there are of Latin (Romance) origin: Spanish and Portuguese – again, regardless of race.

he was babysitting and walked to the store to get some candy and something to drink – It was not midnight – it was early evening. Amazing how it is so easy for some people to want to blame this child. Remember, this was a child who walked to the store, was followed by some strange man first in a car and then on foot, who was confronted and then shot and killed by someone who was told by police to stop what he was doing, who was carrying a gun when he wasn't supposed to be and who has continued to walk free despite the fact the he shot a child who was doing NOTHING except walking home from the store.

I do wonder about that. Zimmerman's story doesn't make sense. He claims Trayvon had him pinned,, yet somehow he manages to release his gun from his holster and shoot him? And if he shot him, in the chest, wouldn't Trayvon fallen backwards and landed face up? How did Trayvon get shot in the chest with his face buried in the grass? It does not add up, what becomes more apparent is that Zimmerman's accounts by his apologists keeps changing. The one indisputable fact is that Zimmerman was told not to follow Trayvon by the 911 operator. He did, and now must suffer the consequences for escalating a confrontation by terrorizing and stalking a young man before he ultimately executed him.

So try this put away you feeling for the moment and think how would you have felt if Trayvon would have shot Zimmerman in the struggle...Would he be hoodlum or not. What questions would you be asking. I saw many stories of Black shootings..if Trayvon was the winner no one would have really heard of anything and Trayvon would be in jail because that is all part of the master plan (The Dark Knight 200?)

The pilot having an obvious mental breakdown was charged by the FBI the next day yet no authority has made any progress on this situation. It looks to me like from the crime scene on the process was initially sabotaged and not necessarily by the officers as they don't have the authority. So why can't you fathom that Zimmerman has the right to ask anyone what they are doing in the community at any time just like you and everyone should be able to. But grownup communicate with their voice not with their fists. Stand the ground goes into effect if one or the other intends to do bodily harm. Thus the question is did Zimmerman approach the young adult with the gun out or did Trayvon start hitting Zimmerman. That will define if Zimmerman acted according to the stand your ground law or not. If the Gun was out first Trayvon had the stand your ground on his side. If Zimmerman did not and Trayvon attacked him, Zimmerman had the Stand your ground on his side. and you cant fake broken nose. And they say he has a broken nose don't know if there is an X-ray and I'm sure the EMT's evaluated Zimmerman though that is why you don't see much on that police video of Zimmerman's cuts. What do you think and EMT's job is let Zimmerman bleed.

I am dishusted that a 3/4 hispanic man is being called a white racist. Blacks want equality but they always throw the race card, I would shoot him to if somebody came after me.

George Zimmerman is probably a Hispanic Jew, or possibly his father is Jewish and his mother is from a Spanish-speaking country. There are Jews all over the Spanish-speaking world.

Hispanic is not a race you idiot!
